Set in the heart of Brighton, One Church stands as a stunning backdrop for love stories to unfold. Becki and Sam’s wedding was a vibrant celebration filled with joy, laughter, and a beautiful array of colors.
With the charming old church building accommodating all their loved ones, the couple’s colorful theme radiated warmth and happiness throughout the day. They entrusted their floral arrangements to Becki’s oldest friend’s partner, who beautifully brought their vision to life with a lush display of purples that added a whimsical touch to the occasion. To top it off, a heartfelt banner created by a dear friend featured a picture of their beloved dog, making this special day even more personal and memorable.

Where did you get married?
One Church Brighton in the United Kingdom
Why did you choose to get married at One Church Brighton?
Beautiful old church building that also had capacity for all out loved ones.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
I think arriving. Seeing the venue filled with so many people that we loved and then arriving at the front to my partner shedding some tears and getting to share our vows.
Becki, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?
Colourful was our theme. My oldest friend’s partner is a florist so we just said lots of purples for the flowers and left the rest to her and it was beautiful! Another friend made us a banner which included a picture of our dog.
What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?
Writing the vows / Speeches and asking friends to do little things so it felt like we were all coming together to do parts.
What was the best investment you made for your wedding?
Food! We had pizzas but also nutritional salads and canapés.
Is there anything you would have done differently?
Wish I had capacity to have been a bit more organised.
What was your favorite part of using WedSites for your wedding?
Sending info and updates was made soooo easy by the site. Being able to custom-make messages, see who had read the emails, and check a draft by sending it to ourselves first. It was a huge relief and exactly the sort of thing we were after so we could keep people in the loop along the way.
