Where did you get married?
Tuscany, Italy
Why did you choose to get married at Tuscany, Italy?
We got engaged in the Dolomites, Italy in 2023. It’s our favourite country in the world and couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate our love with our closest friends and family.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
We celebrated our wedding and cross for beautiful days and five incredible events: welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner, wedding day, recovery brunch by the pool, and a farewell dinner in Lucca. We made the most of our beautiful villa and utilise different areas of the villa for each event.
Emma, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?
We let Tuscany speak for itself. The entirety of the wedding was in front of the backdrop of our beautiful 16th century Tuscan Villa. White roses, white linen, candles. Everything was simple but beautiful.
What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?
I loved the planning process. Seeing my vision come to life over 12 months was pretty incredible. Hearing and seeing our guests get excited about our special day and a holiday together was everything to us

Photography and music
Is there anything you would have done differently?
Absolutely nothing I would do differently
What was your favorite part of using WedSites for your wedding?
Being able to centralise save the date it’s invitations the wedding website. I loved how much freedom I had with the wedding website. I was able to be creative. All of our guests loved it. It was great to be able to go back and edit things as the events evolved

Wedding planning is notoriously stressful. Now that you’ve gone through the process, do you have any advice or words of wisdom for couples who are currently in the midst of planning theirs?
Just enjoy the process. Once it’s over, you’ll miss it. Trust that everything will work out.
