The Lageret in Stoughton, WI

Why did you choose to get married at The Lageret?

Beautiful venue for a winter wedding. And a small-town vibe with enough infrastructure for a lot of guests.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

Our ceremony! My now sister-in-law was our officiant, we had cousins speak, and our vows were special. Lots of laughing!

Jenna, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?

Classic and cozy. Black and white with moody flowers.

What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?

I loved selecting our vendors, touring venues, designing invites, and everything with my bridesmaids.

What was the best investment you made for your wedding?

Our day-of organizer was a lifesaver!! Otherwise, open bar was the best investment.

Is there anything you would have done differently?

Set a stricter budget, and maybe find cheaper dinner options.

Know that the last couple of weeks will be the most stressful, so do as much as you can before that last month! And a to-do spreadsheet the year leading up to the wedding was a lifesaver.
