Reneka and Tray’s wedding at Casa Villa Verde was an extraordinary celebration of love and shared experiences.

With the freedom to incorporate their own vendors and the luxury of a private villa, they were able to create a wedding that perfectly reflected their personalities and desires.

From the breathtaking venue to the carefully curated events, every aspect of their four-day destination wedding left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone in attendance.

Where did you get married?

Casa Villa Verde in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Why did you choose to get married at Casa Villa Verde?

We wanted to get married on the beach and wanted a unique wedding (not cookie-cutter options from a resort). Getting married at a private villa allowed us to do all of the things we wanted and we were able to use our own vendors.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

We had a destination wedding which consisted of 4 days of events so there were a lot of memorable moments

The most memorable part of my wedding day was me and my husband performed “Drunk in Love” as our wedding entrance song. The dance involved fireworks and some props (mics, hats, sunglasses). It took a lot of practice and timing to pull it off. But to see the guests’ reactions and hear the applause was awesome! It was great to see it all come together.

Reneka, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?

The theme and style was a modern and classy boho look with a pop of terracotta colors. Guests were asked to wear natural and earth-tone colors which made for beautiful pictures. The goal was to give guests an extravagant experience and I feel that we accomplished that from guests’ feedback.

What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?

Bringing all the details together the month before the wedding.

What was the best investment you made for your wedding?

The best investment was hiring a wedding planner. We could not have done it without her.

Is there anything you would have done differently?

I should’ve bought my dress earlier. It wasn’t ready until the day before we flew out to Mexico for the wedding. Even though I ordered it 8 months in advance!

What was your favorite part of using WedSites for your wedding?

I loved being able to keep track of RSVPs for the different events and guests being able to select their food preferences. I got excited every time I got an email with an rsvp notification!
