Where did you get married?

Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown, New Zealand

Why did you choose to get married at Stoneridge Estate?

Seeing it in photos, we knew it was the perfect venue for our garden wedding. The garden has the most beautiful view of Queenstown plus, it has a chapel in case it rains on our wedding day!

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

Having the people we love and adore celebrate us, was what made it incredibly special! Everything from the ceremony to the speeches, to the after party – it was all so heartfelt, just thinking about it makes our hearts melt.

Stef, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?

Colorful, vibrant, raw and natural. It was important for us that our wedding reflected who we are as a couple. We love spontaneity and it really showed in our wedding!

What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?

We were so lucky that we worked with the best people in the business! We worked mainly with Mountain Weddings. We shared with them our vision and the rest is history. We basically just showed up at our wedding and ended up floored with everything!

What was the best investment you made for your wedding?

The heli ride for sure! We love the mountains and it was a no-brainer for us to be there where we can be 100% unapologetically be ourselves.

Is there anything you would have done differently?

Nada. Zilch. We will do it all over again if we can!

What was your favorite part of using WedSites for your wedding?

Finding WedSites was like finding a missing puzzle piece! Planning a destination wedding is a challenge in itself, so having a wedding website made it easier to communicate wedding details to our guests and have everything we need in one go. Wedding registry, RSVP’s, Travel itineraries, etc. It’s also environmentally friendly, no waste which was also a plus!
