Mani and Dylan’s wedding at Glenworth Valley, NSW, was a perfect mix of quiet country charm and luxurious elegance. They wanted a venue that could host three different events in separate spaces, and Glenworth Valley delivered beautifully. With its stunning natural backdrop and the delightful addition of horses, it truly captured the country luxe vibe they were after.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the day was when Mani walked down the aisle. She remembers seeing no one but Dylan, with a string trio playing and the magnificent valley stretching out behind them. That magical moment felt like time stood still, with everything else fading away. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Mani and Dylan’s love took center stage, making their day incredibly special and memorable.

Where did you get married?

Glenworth Valley in NSW, Australia

Why did you choose to get married at Glenworth Valley?

The venue had the quiet, country luxe vibe we were looking for. We could need a venue that could host three events but offer different spaces, and horses!

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

Walking down the aisle, and seeing no one but Dylan. The moment was so special – we had a string trio playing, the Valley looked magnificent, and everyone that mattered to us was there. But most importantly, we saw each other and everything else just faded into the background.

Mani, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?

The brief that all our vendors (I prefer to call them my Team) got was ‘Spring on a Winter’s day’. So we had colourful bridesmaids’ dresses and bright colourful florals to lift the vibe up. We also wanted our guests to know how much they mattered to us – so we planned a few surprises here and there.

What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?

The process – I loved having WedSites through the journey. It was my control centre, and I could direct traffic from there. Everything felt organised, clear and purposeful, and that resonated with my personality. Believe it or not, I’m one of those brides who loved the planning process!

What was the best investment you made for your wedding?

WedSites – you will not regret it (we used ours to plan three events across three days: welcome party, wedding day, and recovery breakfast).

Venue – pick a venue that resonates with you. We picked Glenworth Valley and it felt like we were living in a dream.

Pick ‘Your Team’ wisely – that includes all your vendors and your bridal party. If you are not feeling their vibe, or you are just not sure, pause and listen to what your gut feeling. Having a good team around you will give you the confidence to hand it all over to them to let the magic of your day unfold.

Is there anything you would have done differently?

Spend cocktail hour with your guests! You’ve planned all the details and spent so much – it’s such a shame to miss out on your cocktail hour!

What was your favorite part of using WedSites for your wedding?

We had our website, timelines, guest lists, RSVPs, vendor management all in one spot – it is your own little control centre for your Big Day! We loved everything about Wedsites, how smooth the interface was, and how easy it was to do so many tasks from one place.

Wedding planning is notoriously stressful. Now that you’ve gone through the process, do you have any advice or words of wisdom for couples who are currently in the midst of planning theirs?

Plan what’s important to you. If what’s important to you is your dress and florals, then plan that and hand the other bits over to ‘your team’ of vendors. Most importantly, trust your vendors to do their part – you picked them for a reason.
