Stephanie and Scott had the most beautiful wedding in the open-air chapel of the Kooroomba Lavender Farm.
Sentiment is always a wonderful way to choose a location – with a backdrop of impressive mountains and spectacular views surrounded by nature, and acres of vineyards, lavender fields, olive groves, and trees, who wouldn’t love to be married here!

Kooroomba Lavender Farm at Mount Alford in Queensland, Australia.
Why did you choose to get married at Kooroomba Lavender Farm?
Simply a stunning venue. We loved that we didn’t need to add much and wanted to let the space speak for itself.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Our ceremony. Just standing there looking into Scott’s eyes was the most memorable part of the day.
Stephanie, paint us a picture. What was the theme, style, colors, and overall vibe of your wedding day?
After spending many years in the wedding industry it was important to me that my wedding felt elegant, timeless, and simple. Early on I picked a romantic colour palette of whites and pinks with distinct pops of bright red, inspired by my own parent’s wedding.
What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?
Seeing my vision come together as everything arrived.
What was the best investment you made for your wedding?
Decide which items are most important to you and why. Sticking to our why made decisions easier.
Is there anything you would have done differently?
Nothing. We were truly happy with our entire day.
What was your favorite part of using WedSites for your wedding?

Wedding planning is notoriously stressful. Now that you’ve gone through the process, do you have any advice or words of wisdom for couples who are currently in the midst of planning theirs?
Ensure you remember why you are getting married. This can be a stressful time with many people wanting to be involved. We found it helpful to get back to basics “is this necessary or needed?”
